Add Apiary

At the first step of the apiary management section you have to add apiary with basic info such as apiary name and location of your apiary. The software will respond with Longitude and Latitude of your chosen position. You can add as many apiaries as you like with different locations.

Add Hives

After adding your apiaries you will be able to add hive that belongs to apiaries. At hives section, form appears with the basic hive data required. Add hive name or number, type of the hive, queen’s color and year. Hive will be listed on specific apiary. At the end of this process all your hives is listed and appears in the hives main section. All other columns regarding inspections we will added as inspection data in the next step

Inspections

Inspections section is the core of our apiary management software. In the first appearance the list of inspections is empty and the first step is to add inspections. Besides inspection`s name and date , you can add time you spent at apiary and comment about all your inspection observation. For every specific bee hive you can add number of frames with brood (BR), food frames (FF) and frames with bees (BF). Comment for every single beehive is available. After adding all necessary data the first inspection appears in the list with main parameters.

Feeding and Treatments

Feeding and Treatments

Besides inspections you can record beehive treatments and feeding, as well. Both, treatments and feedings have a similar approach. Main idea is to add basic data and chose all or specific beehives included in this task. You can use this tool even you have specific task on one or a few beehives. Comment section is available for all additional observations and data.

At the hives section you can find list of your hives with the latest basic data. If you click on detailed view you will find all records available for specific beehive. All inspections, treatments and feedings are at one list where you can track progress of your bee colony based on number of bee and brood frames. You can filter all this data by date and get more specific information.

Choose name for your Website

Choose the name of you website and create unique url where your future customers will easily find you and contact you. Once you create name, you won't be able to change it, so take your time, think about it and tell us what name you want. Some good examples are SmithHoney (business name and product name), or SalinasApiary (location), or Cveet (brand name). In that case your new url will be like cveet.beeweb.co.

About us section should tell your potential customer who you are and what you have for them. Let them know what you have in store for them, but more, let them know who you are and why are you into beekeeping. People like to buy honey and bee products from those who are in love with bees.

Once you finish everything, it is time to see what you did. Here, you can preview and publish your site so visitors can start coming. Go live, and let us know once you do that, we would like to share it with our friends. You should do the same.

If you are willing to rent you beehives for pollination of orchards in the region, it is pretty easy to list your offer. All you need to do is add number of hives you want to rent, choose cultures (fruits, vegetables,...) you want to pollinate and distance you can cover from your apiary. After adding those, your offer will be searchable to all the users of the platform, including farmers and fruit growers around the country.
